Bec and Webb 2012

India finally found it’s mojo! Goa is easily (so far) the gem of India. At least the beach we ended up on anyway.

We really had no idea about Goa and where to stay (Goa is a region including around 200km’s of coastline and dozens of beaches) so we tried to pick one that wasn’t too touristy. We actually tried to book at Palolem beach down in the south because we heard it was a fairly undeveloped area but on the morning that we flew out they sent us an email saying they were booked out but we could stay at their Agonda beach facility instead. We took that place and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made.

Agonda beach is just about as good as a beach gets. Unlike the other Goan beaches that have been built up with big hotels, resorts and nightclubs…
