Christian in the wild

Dear friends,
The last 2 weeks had been an awesome ride through India. Our Indian friends Vinay and Smita introduced us into their world and we had the chance to meet their families and get used to all the local habits. Where ever we went the Indian hospitality was truly better than anything we could have hoped for.
In Pune (unknown to most Europeans, but with the size of Berlin) we spend some time with Smitas parents, got involved in a street parade to honor the birthday of one of the thounsand hindu gods (check the pic with the orange head covers). Then we took a train to Delhi (24h ride) and met friends of Vinay and other colleagues from our Helmholtz Center. We visited markets, temples and sights like the India Gate.
