The Black Sakura

All my visits to Goa involved staying in budget hotels in Baga or Calangute, chilling by the sea, eating at the little shacks, and drinking King’s all night. If I had to go anywhere else, the local bus or our trusty little bike was the way to go. This time round things were completely different. From North Goa I moved towards Majorda and stayed at a beautiful resort called Alila Diwa Goa. This resort is very close to Gonsua Beach in Majorda and boasts two sections with three restaurants and one bar.



A twenty minute drive from Dabolim Airport brought me to this beautiful resort tucked amidst lush green trees. I was welcomed by the extremely polite staff members, some Goan music and a glass of fresh kokum juice. The entire property is built around trees and gardens.
