Cambodia Siem Reap

Today we journeyed through the legendary temples of Angkor Wat!  Lead by our own Wath (who previously worked as a guide at the temples) we saw the famous Bayon, Ba Puan, Ta Prom (the temple that Laura Croft Tomb Raider was filmed in) and of course the mighty Angkor Wat! The temples were constructed in the early 12th century and are shrines to Buddhist and Hindu kings throughout Cambodian history.  It was awesome having Wath as a guide to tell us the amazing history of the architecture, royalty and general life in that time 🙂
